This site is informational

Our menu shifts daily with what's harvested at local farms, and hours, prices and availability change with it. We try to keep this site current, but we can't promise that everything on it is accurate at the moment you read it.

If something matters to your plans — a particular dish, a holiday closing, a price — please call and confirm it with us rather than relying on the site.

The photographs are of our own food, but they show dishes as they were on the day they were taken. They are there to give you a feel for the place, not to promise that a particular plate is available tonight.

Food, ingredients and allergies

Menu descriptions on this site are not complete ingredient lists. Recipes change with what we get in, and our kitchen handles wheat, dairy, eggs, nuts and shellfish in a shared space, so we cannot guarantee that any dish is free of any allergen.

If you have a food allergy or dietary restriction, please tell us before you order so we can talk it through with you. Do not rely on this website to make that decision.

Orders and reservations

Anything you send us through this site is a request, not a confirmed order or booking. It's confirmed when we confirm it with you directly. We may decline or adjust a request — if we're out of something, or can't manage a catering date, we'll tell you.

You need to be 18 or older to send us an order or catering request.

Our content

The text, photographs, logo and design on this site belong to us or are used with permission. You're welcome to look at it, share a link, or print a page for your own use.

Please don't copy, republish, or use our photographs or branding commercially without asking us first. We're usually happy to say yes.

The Bocce name and logo are our trademarks. Using them in a way that suggests we endorse or are connected to something we aren't is the one use we will always object to.

Using the site

Please don't scrape the site, try to disrupt or break it, attempt to access parts of it you're not meant to, or use it for anything unlawful.

Other sites we link to

We link to social media, review sites, mapping services, and press coverage written about us. We don't control any of those sites and aren't responsible for their content or their practices.

Accessibility

We want everyone to be able to use this site, and we are working toward the WCAG 2.1 Level AA standard. We are not claiming we have got there yet — parts of the site may not conform, and we would rather say so than imply otherwise.

One thing already works: if your device is set to reduce motion, this site honours that setting and turns off its animations and scrolling effects.

Nothing on this site is the only way to reach us. Our menu, hours, address and prices are all available by phone or in person, and we are glad to read the menu to you or take your order that way.

If any part of this site is a barrier for you, please email [email protected] and tell us what happened. We will help you get what you needed straight away, and we will work on fixing the underlying problem.

No warranties

The site is provided as it is. To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no warranties about it — that it will always be available, error-free, or that the information on it is complete or current.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or incidental losses arising from your use of this website.

Nothing in these terms limits any liability that can't be limited by law, and nothing here affects your rights as a customer of the restaurant.

If part of these terms doesn't hold

If any part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, that part is treated as removed and the rest still applies.

If we don't enforce something on one occasion, that doesn't mean we've given up the right to enforce it later.

These terms, together with our privacy policy, are the whole of the agreement between us about your use of this website.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any dispute about them belongs in the state or federal courts located in Sacramento County, California.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We'll change the effective date at the top when we do, and continuing to use the site means you accept the current version.
